This policy explains what information EasyESL.net collects, how it is used to provide the service, and the choices available to you when you use the EasyESL lesson library, account features, protected member materials, and related services.

1. Who we are

EasyESL.net is an online platform for ESL/EFL teachers. It provides lesson pages, printable teaching resources, teacher materials, interactive e-lessons, and related classroom tools.

2. Information we collect

The information we process depends on how you use EasyESL.net. It may include the following:

Account and authentication information

Account details such as your username, display name, and email address.
Login, verification, and other account-security events needed to operate and protect your account.
If you choose Google sign-in, provider information needed to identify or authenticate your EasyESL account, such as your Google account email, display name, and provider linkage. EasyESL does not receive your Google password through this sign-in option.

Membership and access information

If you connect Patreon, limited information needed to identify you and connect your membership, such as a Patreon identifier, email or profile information, membership status, tier, and related membership data.
Information about the lessons and protected resources you try to access, together with basic account and access-control events needed to provide the correct membership experience.

Technical and security information

Technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring page, request information, and basic server or security logs.
Information used by Cloudflare Turnstile and other security controls to distinguish ordinary use from automated abuse and to protect account and registration forms.

Communications and user-submitted content

Information you provide when contacting EasyESL or requesting support.
Your optional newsletter preference and the information needed to manage that subscription.
If lesson discussion is available, comments, questions, feedback, or suggestions you submit, together with the account identity associated with that contribution. Discussion contributions may be moderated and displayed to other users.

Referral and analytics information

Referral or affiliate information, including cookies or similar identifiers, when you arrive through an affiliate or campaign link and when that information is needed to preserve attribution.
Usage and performance information from Google Analytics 4 and similar site tools, subject to the available cookie and consent controls.
Cookie and consent preferences used to remember choices and help manage non-essential technologies.

3. How we use information

We use information we collect to:

operate, maintain, and improve EasyESL.net and its lesson library;
create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and complete email or account verification;
determine whether an account can access Standard, Pro, Ultra, sample, or other protected materials;
connect Patreon membership information with the corresponding EasyESL access level;
protect the site against misuse, fraud, unauthorized sharing, automated abuse, and other security threats;
understand site usage and performance and improve the teacher experience;
send optional newsletter messages when you have chosen to receive them;
operate lesson discussion and respond to questions or support requests; and
comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the rights, property, and safety of EasyESL and its users.

4. Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google authenticates the sign-in and EasyESL receives the provider information needed to identify or create the corresponding EasyESL account. The information available to EasyESL is limited to what the current sign-in integration provides and what is needed for account access. EasyESL does not receive your Google password, Gmail contents, Google Drive files, or other unrelated Google account content through this sign-in option.

Google handles its own services and data practices under its Privacy Policy.

5. Patreon and other third-party services

EasyESL uses Patreon for paid membership billing and membership management. If you connect Patreon or purchase a membership there, Patreon may provide limited identity and membership information so EasyESL can connect the account and determine the appropriate access level. EasyESL does not receive or store your Patreon payment-card details as part of this connection.

Patreon handles payment methods, billing, cancellations, and other Patreon-specific account matters under its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

EasyESL also uses service providers and technical tools for hosting, security, analytics, cookies and consent, email or communications, and site operation. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services and under their own applicable policies.

6. Cloudflare Turnstile and security

EasyESL uses Cloudflare Turnstile and related security controls on selected forms and account journeys. These services process the technical information needed to assess whether a request appears to come from a human visitor and to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile is designed to perform this security function without accessing or transmitting the contents of your form entries.

7. Cookies, sessions, and similar technologies

EasyESL may use cookies, login sessions, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, support referral attribution, understand site usage, and help the site function properly. Some technologies are essential. Others, such as analytics or referral technologies, may be subject to the cookie and consent choices available on the site.

Browser settings can also limit or remove cookies, although doing so may affect account, security, or site functionality.

Newsletter messages are optional. If you choose to receive them, EasyESL may use your email address and related subscription information to send lesson updates, teaching tips, and occasional EasyESL news. You can unsubscribe using the available unsubscribe control. Transactional messages, such as account or email-verification messages, are separate from optional newsletter consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information when reasonably necessary to:

provide services through hosting, security, analytics, cookie and consent, communications, and other technical providers;
authenticate with Google when you choose Google sign-in;
connect Patreon membership information with EasyESL access;
operate affiliate or referral attribution where applicable;
comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
protect the rights, property, safety, and security of EasyESL, our users, or others; or
support a business transfer, restructuring, or sale of the platform if one occurs.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain account and access records, provide support, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect the platform. Some technical logs, security records, newsletter records, and account information may be retained for operational, security, or audit purposes for different periods.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including account controls, protected-resource checks, and security monitoring. No website, server, or online transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access to, correction of, deletion of, or objection to the processing of your personal information. You may be able to update account details, unsubscribe from optional newsletters, manage available cookie choices, disconnect or manage Patreon access through the available account controls, or request account closure. These choices are subject to technical, security, contractual, and legal limitations.

13. Children

EasyESL is intended for teachers, educators, and adult users of teaching materials. It is not directed to children.
